after a break, i am back in mode „ christmas cards. here is card, which i enjoyed those days
i decided this time to get away from the traditional Christmas colors, so the card worked in pink-purple range. i was inspired by sketch of `the sketchy challenges` :
so, on card again
the stamp that i used for my project is `brooke`s first christmas`, `belles`n`whistles` release by elizabeth bell. i`ve colored the image with my favorite `derwent coloursoft` pencils, i blended the colours with white spirit. i ve made slight distressing around the picture with `versa colours` inks
i added roses from my stocks. to achieve shiny, frosted effect of the flowers, i put clear glitter. i made a frame around the image using my heyda border punch. twigs and leaves around the flowers are made with woodware and papermania leaf-punches. papers, that i used for my card, are real jim-jam of scraps of leftovers from old projects and some digital papers.
beautiful ribbon and lace are from the neighborhood hardware. I used this beautiful knob knot bow. I made a hat-pin, which matches the color of the card
i am big fan of fun folded cards, when i started to deal with cardmaking, every week i` ve challenged my self myself for something crazy, but lately I have not done any interesting bends. shame on me! I decided that I’ll do „ joy-fold card. here is snside of my card:
i hope you lie my creation, dear visitors of my blog!
